Hello friends, So in today's blog post I wanted to talk to you all about making new friends in a new city. It can be daunting to think you're not going to make any. But that's not true, there are so many ways to meet new people when moving countries.  Firstly, use your connections, I can not say this more! Maybe you don't know anyone in the city you're moving to, but that doesn't mean you won't have a friend that doesn't. When moving to New York I had so many people say, "oh I have a friend you must meet when you're there." I urge you to take these mate dates, because they will suggest cool places for you to check out, along with introducing you to other new friends! My best friend now in newyork is a precious "friend date", we both moved to NYC the same month and hit it off! Other ways to meet new people is through work, say yes to those afternwork drinks, those meaningless plans. Make more of an effort to create those friends
